Startups often need tiny little tasks done, or a conversation to try to unravel something difficult. I reserve some portion of my time for pro bono work. Might be fun if people have contained projects like that which might be a fun palate cleanser for the helper and give a discrete way to help a peer.

Open session for founders to chat with investors in the climate space, not a pitching session, but an opportunity to ask questions, get feedback, practice your pitch etc.

At PSL, we had a lot of 90 minute ideation sessions, where people could give 2-minute pitches (followed by 5 minutes of Q&A) about the new business models they're working on. It did a great job of helping people catalyze their thinking, and also partnering folks up who are enthusiastic about similar things. There was also a voting component to ground-truth the validity of the idea; average scores over 6/10 got an investor meeting!

To strengthen community relationships and expose ourselves to a broader range of perspectives, we invite a different community group (e.g. small business associations, downtown partnerships, historically disenfranchised groups) every month/quarter to the hub to learn about our projects and provide feedback.
