At PSL, we had a lot of 90 minute ideation sessions, where people could give 2-minute pitches (followed by 5 minutes of Q&A) about the new business models they're working on. It did a great job of helping people catalyze their thinking, and also partnering folks up who are enthusiastic about similar things. There was also a voting component to ground-truth the validity of the idea; average scores over 6/10 got an investor meeting!
